Final Projects

And of course you wouldn't want to forget your final publication project. It's due May 19. You may work in groups or alone. In the comments section of this post, please write a short project proposal explaining what you're going to be working on and if you're going to be grouping up or working alone. Options include (but are not limited to) broadsides, chapbooks, e-zines, etc. You are limited only by your imagination and the bounds of decorum. Ask me if you have questions.

  1. Danielle & Anna-
A broadside using a piece from each of us and an art piece from a schoolmate

  2. I want to create a short chapbook of poetry (and maybe prose) by Rachele Hatter. I'd like it to be as nicely bound as possible based on my budget, so I'd need to confer about the number of copies expected.

  3. Kelsey -- I think one or two copies will work if you want to do something handmade/extravagant. Price it out and keep me posted.

  4. Caitlin and I are collecting writing from our family members and publishing it in a chapbook format. Probably.

  5. Lydia, Abby and I would like to publish a small collection of love poetry (12ish poems) by students and teachers at ASFA. Lydia does some crazy-good bindings, so that will be another aspect of the project.

  6. Ella and I are doing a literary magazine of ASFA teachers. We want to make a nice little booklet, depending on how many responses we get...
